Barbara Mae Willey

January 13, 1934 –  July 15, 2017 

Barbara Mae (Sweeney) Willey of Bog Brook Road passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at LaFayette Center in Franconia, NH .  
Born on January 13, 1934 in Norwood, MA, she was the daughter of  Leo E. and Hazel (Smith) Sweeney.
Barbara grew up in Ellsworth, NH.
On February 18, 1953, she married Roy E. Willey.  They moved to Lincoln NH and togetherthey raised five children.
She worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Lincoln & Woodstock including the Notch View Country Kitchen and at Loon Mountain.
Spending time with family was very important to her.  In earlier years, she enjoyed square dancing and camping.
Until the death of her husband Roy (April 11, 2011), she enjoyed nighttime “Back Road” sight seeing drives in the White Mountains looking for deer and moose.
Besides her parents and husband, she is pre-deceased by a daughter Betty Jean Dexter, a grandson Gene Smith, Jr., brother Aurthur Sweeney; brother in laws Lawrence Willey, Ernest Rannacher, and George Joyce, sister in law Wiona Willey, and a nephew Bruce Willey.
She leaves sons: Roy E. Willey, Jr., and his wife Christine and Lee Willey all of Lincoln; daughters: Linda M. Smith and her husband Gene, Sr., of Lincoln and Barbara W. Mack-Keeney and her husband (Steven) of Woodstock; Grandchildren:  Michael Mills, Stephen Mills, Jason Keeney, Craig Keeney, Kenneth Mack, Jennifer Conn, Joshua Keeney, Russell Smith, Kendra Smith, Theodore Willey, Angela Willey, Brandi Willey, Megan Willey, and Aaron Willey; Great Grandchildren:  Elizabeth Mills, Ayden Gauthier, Isabell Gauthier, Sienna Mack, Mackenna Mack, Griffen Keeney, Barbara Elizabeth Keeney, Samantha Keeney, Nicole Keeney, Makayla Keeney, Parker Keeney, Lauriann Smith, Adam Smith, Nicole Smith, Kaitlin Smith, Zachary Willey, Theodore Willey, Samuel Willey, Benjamin Willey, Kayla Willey, Brandon Willey, Madison Willey, Jadon Tessari, and Anaiah Tessari; Great-great Granddaughter Isabell Smith; Sisters-in-laws: Ona Rannacher, Murial Joyce, and Cecilia Willey; several nieces and nephews including Merle Sweeney and wife Debbie, Verlyn Wardup and Lyle Sweeney; several great nieces and nephews including Merle Sweeney, Jr., and Ann Marie Sweeney.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
A Graveside service will be held at 10:30am Friday, July 21 at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln, NH. Rev Marcus Corey of Loon Mountain Ministries will officiate. There are no calling hours.
