Richard Lee Sullivan

June 21, 1950 –  November 7, 2014 

Thornton, NH- Richard Lee Sullivan of Starr Ridge Road passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 64. Born on June 21, 1950 in Warwick, RI, he was the son of Charles A. and Eileen C. ( Dorsey) Sullivan. Richard grew up in Warwick, RI and was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Hendrick High School and a 1973 graduate of University of Rhode Island. He was employed as a courier with Fed-Ex in Lebanon, NH for 23 years retiring due to his illness. An accomplished artist and drummer, he also loved the outdoors, was an avid hiker and a member of the 4000 footers club as well as an avid Boston sports fan who enjoyed the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. He will be remembered as an amazing man who shared his great sense of humor with everyone he met. Richard Sullivan leaves a daughter Christine A. Sullivan and her daughter Isabelle Sullivan of Hope Valley, RI., daughter, Kerri L. Maruska and her husband Matthew and their children, Zachary and Abigail of Narragansett, RI., loving companion Janice Araminta DeFeo of Venice, FL; and his nephew Dewey; brother Donald C. Sullivan and his wife Sharon and their children, Brendan and Kimberly Sullivan of Greenwood, IN; and sister Patrice G. Super and her children, Anna and Katie Super of Lyme, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11 am at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. There are no calling hours.
