Catherine A. (Kay) Reardon

Catherine A. (Kay) Reardon of LaBrecque Street passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, NH. She was 90.
Born on May 23, 1925 in Lincoln, NH, she was the daughter of Perley T. and Eva (Fontaine) Connery.
A lifelong resident of Lincoln, she was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School.
During World War II, she worked at OPA (Rationing Board). On July 23, 1945, she married Patrick M. Reardon.
In 1976, she became employed at Burndy’s Corporation in Lincoln and retired in 1990 where she worked as a shipping clerk.
Kay enjoyed life by being a devoted wife and mother. She adored her grandchildren, loved working in her flower gardens, doing crafts, and camping with her husband. She was very appreciative of her many friends and neighbors.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Pat in 2000, two brothers Earl Connery and Donald Connery and three sisters Marion (PeeWee) Wright, Helena Haynes, and Jeanette Kallum.
She is survived by her children: son Michael Reardon and wife Charyl of No. Woodstock; three daughters Cathy Turnbull and husband Robert of Jacksonville, Fl, Charlene Boyle and husband Randy of Lincoln, and PJ Jones and husband David of Tamworth; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a sister Shirley Carr of Oswego, NY. Several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, August 1 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Rev. David Kneeland will officiate. The Rite of Committal will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
