Lincoln, NH Robert Noseworthy of School Street, Lincoln passed away Monday, May 12, 2015 at Laconia Center in Laconia, NH following complications from a fall two months ago. He was 85. Born on August 29, 1929 in Campton, NH, he was the son of John J. and Josephine E. (Adams) Noseworthy. Robert grew up on the family farm and attended Campton Schools and Plymouth High School. Following High School, he served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Era. Returning home from the Marine Corps, he was employed by the Franconia Paper Company in Lincoln until its closure. He then was employed as a truck driver by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation in Lincoln. In retirement, he drove truck for Donahue Construction. He enjoyed going for rides and spending time with his grandchildren. Three brothers Arthur, John, and Lewis Noseworthy and two sisters Grace Higgins and Zillah May Cayes all pre-deceased him. He leaves two sons: Stephen Noseworthy and companion Jayne Ludwig of Lincoln and Brent Noseworthy and wife Brenda of Thornton; two grandsons Ryan Noseworthy of Fort Collins, CO and Neil Noseworthy of Thornton, NH; a brother Howard Noseworthy and wife Marjorie of Plymouth and their children Carey Noseworthy of Laconia and Lori Bird of Dover; many nieces and nephews including Gary Noseworthy and family.
