Cynthia L. Mulleavey

Cynthia L. “Cindy” (Walter) Mulleavey, 69, of Lincoln passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her home in the care of her family following a courageous battle with lung cancer.


Born on August 1, 1946, she was the daughter of William and Paris Walter.


Cindy was a graduate of Landon High School in Jacksonville, FL.


On May 6, 1967, she married Raymond F. Mulleavey of North Woodstock.


Over the years, she was the devoted owner and manager of Mr. W’s Pancake House and the Longhorn Palace both in Lincoln, NH.


Cindy really enjoyed her yearly trip to Foxwoods Casino and her time spent in Florida visiting with family and friends. 


She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln and was a life member and founding member of the Lincoln American Legion Post # 83 Ladies Auxillary.


Cindy will be remembered for her quick wit, generosity and devotion to others in the community and most important spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.


Besides her mother, she is pre-deceased by her son Scott Mulleavey.


She leaves her husband of 49 years Raymond F. Mulleavey of Lincoln; a son Chris R. Mulleavey and wife Kathleen of Concord, NH, a daughter Marcella Shamberger and husband Stephen of No. Woodstock; eight grandchildren Trinity, Grace, Christopher, Caleb, Tristan, Maggie, Samuel, and Raylynne;

her father William Walter of Jacksonville, FL, three sisters Elaine Miller of Gainesville, FL, Marianne “MeMe” Tetley of North Carolina, and Kathie Dangelo of Lincoln, NH;

several nieces, nephews, and cousins.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Monday, February 29 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH.  Rev David Kneeland will officiate.  Burial will be in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln, NH.


Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday evening, February 28 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, No. Woodstock, NH.
