William J McGinley

William J. McGinley of Bog Brook Road passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH following a long illness. He was 65.

Born on December 9, 1950 in Malden, MA, he was the son of Edward P. and Margaret E. (Henderson) McGinley.

William grew up in North Reading, Massachusetts and was a graduate of North Reading High School.

On November 12, 1968, he enlisted in the US Air Force to serve his country during the Vietnam War. He served in Southeast Asia including Cambodia and Thailand, receiving an Honorable Discharge as an Airman First Class on July 9, 1971 as a Service Disabled American Veteran.

Bill was not able to work due to his service related disability. He was a history buff and was very knowledgeable of politics and presidential history.

His father Edward P. McGinley died before him.

He leaves his mother Margaret E. McGinley of Lincoln, NH, three brothers Paul J. McGinley of Denton, MD, Joseph L. McGinley and wife Barbara of Middletown, MD, and John McGinley of Lincoln, NH; two sisters Janet Drapeau and husband Joseph and Margaret Martin and husband James all of Lincoln, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln, NH.
