Glencliff, NH- Darlene Aleta Henry, 65, of Glencliff, NH died on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Glencliff Home for the Elderly. She was born on November 18, 1945 in Island Pond, VT the daughter of William Myron and Carmen Louisa (Dupuis) King. She attended elementary school in North Strafford, NH and was a graduate of Our Lady of Grace Academy in Colebrook, NH. On January 16, 1965 she was married to Franklin Henry. She had been a homemaker her entire life. She was very active in the St. James Catholic Church in Island Pond for many years. She loved to cook for family and friends, reading and singing. She is survived by one daughter, Stacey Henry of White River Jct., VT and one son, Micky Henry and his wife Karen of Essex Jct., VT.; two grandchildren, Mariah and Gabrielle Henry; three sisters, Gloria Brooks of Lancaster, NH., Orleans Jeffers of Maine and Carol Sibulkin of New Hampshire. She was predeceased by five sisters and five brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11 am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in North Strafford, NH. There are no calling hours. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in North Strafford, NH. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
