Kareen Theresa Hamilton

February 3, 1947 –  March 5, 2016 

Kareen T. Hamilton, 69, of Lincoln Green passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Concord Hospice House.

Born Feb 3, 1947 in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of Francis and Theresa (Chamberlain) Carelli.

Kareen grew up in Salem, NH and was a 1965 graduate of Woodbury High School and a 1966 graduate of St. Joseph School of Practical Nursing. She then continued studies at NH Technical Institute to complete her Registered Nursing Degree.

She was employed as an RN for 35 years at various hospitals, nursing homes, and also rode with Milford Ambulance as an EMT.

Her other interest included landscaping and nature which she was a master gardener of Hillsboro County UNH Co-operative Extension and a volunteer with the US Forest Service.

She had resided in Lincoln for the past several years.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband Paul Hamilton, two sons-Sgt. Craig Hamilton (1976) and an infant son, an infant daughter, and a brother John Carelli.

She leaves a son Jon Paul Hamilton and wife Lorraine of Wilmington, DE, 4 grandchildren, a sister Janeen Dalrymple of Salem, NH, a brother Frederick Carelli of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm Wednesday, March 9 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Burial will be in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln.

Calling hours will be held from 12 Noon to 1:30pm prior to the mass at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, No. Woodstock, NH.
