Mildred Loretta "Millie" Gould

Mrs. Mildred Loretta “Millie” Gould of Rte 175 Thornton passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH after being stricken at her home. She was 97.
Born on January 9, 1915 in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Ralph and Anna Davis.
Mildred grew up and attended schools in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Before World War II, she was a buyer and manager for Ben Franklin Stores.
During the War, she worked in a turret machine production factory in Providence, RI.
After the war and during the German Occupation, she lived with her husband in Germany.
She and her husband Frederick settled in Warwick, RI where they raised their daughter.
Mildred was employed by the Warwick School System for many years.
Over the years, she was very active in the VFW Ladies Auxilary where she held many positions.
In 1997, they moved to Lincoln, NH to be closer to family.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Frederick Gould in 2002.
She leaves her loving daughter Karen Davis of Thornton, NH A granddaughter Tracy Morrell of Woodstock, NH and a grandson Michael Siravo of Northport, NY; A great-granddaughter Marissa Morrell and a great-grandson Madison Morrell; two great-great grandchildren Finn Isabella Siravo and Cameron Michael Pitre.
A Celebration of her life was held at 12 Noon Saturday, December 08 at the Church of the Messiah in North Woodstock.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln, NH.
