Fern B> Gagne

Fern B. Gagne, a longtime resident of Labrecque Street, Lincoln and presently of Pollard Road passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. She was 80.

Born on August 29, 1931 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Victor and Eva (Major) Cloutier.

She attended Berlin Schools and at an early age, she moved with her family to Lincoln, NH.

On November 25, 1950, she married Robert J. Gagne and together they raised 3 children. He died June 24, 2010 after 60 years of marriage.

Fern retired from the Burndy Corporation in Lincoln, NH where she worked as an assembly operator.

She was a member of the Lincoln American Legion Post # 83 Ladies Auxiliary and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln. She was an avid reader, gardener, and will be remembered for the Afgans that she made and gave to patients in local hospitals.

She leaves two sons: Robert J. Gagne and his wife Judy of Littleton, NH and James L. Gagne and his wife Lorraine of Grantham, NH.

A daughter Marie E. Duquette and her husband Eugene of Lincoln, NH

Grandchildren: Adam Nichols and his wife Lindsay of South Carolina, Kim Lamotte and her husband Chad and Marc Duquette all of Lincoln. James Gagne and Allyson Gagne both of Grantham, NH.

Great-Grandchildren: Eric & Logan Nichols of Virginia

A brother Victor Cloutier and his wife Marion of Lincoln, NH

Several nieces & nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Tuesday, February 21 at St. Joseph Church, Lincoln, NH. Rev. David Kneeland will officiate. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln.

Arrangements are by Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St., North Woodstock, NH.
