Bernadette Marie Fox
January 7, 1926 – February 27, 2015
Lincoln, NH Bernadette Marie (Fournier) Fox of Lincoln, passed away Friday evening February 27, 2015 at Littleton Regional Hospital following a period of declining health. She was 89.
Bernadette was born on January 7, 1926 in Ashland, Maine and was raised by her grandmother.
At an early age, she moved to Lincoln, NH to work in the papermill where she met Henry William Fox. They were united in marriage on December 31, 1950 and enjoyed 32 years of marriage until his passing in July 1982.
She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and playing bingo, but most of all spending time with her family. Over the years, she was employed at Loon Mountain’s Octagon Lodge and at Giovoni’s Restaurant in No. Woodstock during the summer.
Bernadette was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Lincoln, NH.
Besides her husband, she is pre-deceased by her father Arthur Fournier, a brother Ferdinad Fournier, and a sister Bertha Saucier.
She leaves her loving daughter Ann Marie Kimball and husband John of Rochester, NH, a grandson Henry Kimball and his wife Mia, and her great-grandson Flynn, all of Clearwater, FL. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, May 9, at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Rev David Kneeland will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln.
