Ronald W Emerson

October 1, 1941 –  November 6, 2019 

Ronald Winfred Emerson passed on peacefully at his childhood home surrounded by his loving family on November 6, 2019. Born in Manchester, NH October 1st, 1941 to Louis James Emerson and Gertrude "Mary" Sweet. Ronald was a 1959 graduate of Lincoln High School. He married his high school sweetheart Bonnie Cox shortly after graduation. He then went onto work in the Lincoln paper mill and they started their family while residing in North Woodstock. The Lincoln paper mill closed down so the family relocated to Pejepscot Maine. Upon the closing of the Pajepscot paper mill, Ronald and the family returned to Lincoln to begin a new chapter with a new extended family. Ronald and Bonnie returned to his family home on School Street. They were both soon employed by the Woodstock Inn. Ron enjoyed fishing with his son and others. He also enjoyed watching the Patriots, Yankees, old Game shows, playing Cribbage and Poker. Some of his favorite times were spent on family vacations to Old Orchard Beach Maine and yearly family trips to the Fryeburg Fair. Regular weekly highlights included cookouts with the family, Monday night poker games, and Sunday Cribbage at the Legion. He was always one to do anything he could to help the other guy. He loved spending time with his family and was fortunate enough to be able to do that right up until the end.

Ron was predeceased by his daughter Susan Marie and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Bonnie, daughter Cindy Bradley and her 4 children Lucas Landry, and wife Morgan Landry who have 3 children Zachary, Kylie, and Ryder. Tyler Landry and his husband Ricky Hood, Parker Bradley and Paige Bradley, a son Joseph Emerson and his partner Jessie Roberts, his 2 children Kayleigh Emerson and Gavin Emerson, a daughter Tamara and Steven Becker and their child Josephine Becker who has 2 children Michael and Lotus, brothers Raymond Emerson and his wife Bettyann, and Thomas Emerson and his wife Linda, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St. North Woodstock, on Sunday, November 11, 2019, from 2-4 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 11, at 2 PM at the Woodstock Inn, 135 Main St. North Woodstock.
