Donald A. Corb of Lincoln, NH and Longboat Key, Fl. passed away on October 15, 2015.
Born in Providence, R.I., on February 11, 1929, son of the late Stanley Corb and Elizabeth Eldridge Corb.
Survived by his wife, Joan Corb, sons Kenneth Corb and wife Chandra, Brinton Corb, grandchildren, Nicole, Katrina, Alice and Emily and nephews Robert and Douglas. Brother of the late Robert Corb and wife Sandy.
Don was predeceased by his first wife Lois Hively Corb.
He was a graduate of Boston University School of Law, where he received the Degree of JD.
Don was the president of Lee Institute, Brookline, MA, a real Estate School, one of the first schools of its kind that specialized in real estate training. Don was the president but loved to teach and was responsible for educating close to a hundred thousand R.E. Brokers throughout the state of Massachusetts. He was the author of several books on Real Estate and worked with the State in preparing required curriculum and tests for licensure.
He was an avid skier, traveler, hiker, boater and accomplished musician. He was an eagle scout, and joined the army in senior year of high school. After basic training he served in the Panama Canal Zone as a member of the U.S. Army Band.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday, October 18 from 2pm to 5pm at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, No. Woodstock, NH 03293. This will be followed by a reception to honor Don at the Common Man restaurant in Lincoln, NH.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Messiah, School Street, No. Woodstock, NH. Burial service will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11 am in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield, MA.
