Robert A. “Rocky” Chase, 64, of Maple Street and a former resident of Haverhill, NH died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Lakes Region Hospital in Laconia, NH following a battle with prostate cancer.

Born on September 28, 1947 in Plymouth, NH, he was the son of Robert F. and Gertrude L. (Rannacher) Chase.

Rocky was a 1965 graduate of Lin-Wood High School in Lincoln.

For over 30 years, he was employed as a set up “A” at Burndy in Lincoln until last September when his illness prevented him from working.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and was a golden pass life member of the North American Hunting and Fishing Clubs and the NRA. Rocky was a New England Sports Fan of the Patriots, Bruins, and Red Sox. He also enjoyed NASCAR Racing, his favorite driver was Rusty Wallace #2.

Besides his parents, he is pre-deceased by a sister Frances Ochs (1982).

He leaves a son Eric Chase and his fiancAC.e Jaime Gibson of Woodsville, NH

A daughter Jennifer Miles of Lincoln, NH

Three sisters: Mrs Ralph (Barbara) L. Reitsma of Campton, NH, Judith A. Germain and her fiancAC. Wayne Wilkins and Beverly J. Chase both of Lincoln, NH

Extended family including his former wife Wendy J. Marsh of North Haverhill, NH Rose Hanson, Mary & David Baillargeon and Julie Marsh all of Haverhill. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and cousins

A celebration of Rocky’s Life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, April 7 at Rev. Roger Bilodeau Community Center, 194 Pollard Road, Lincoln, NH. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln, NH.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm Wednesday, April 4 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St., North Woodstock, NH.
