Woodstock, NH Janice Nancy (Willoughby) Campbell, 74, of Woodstock died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at LaFayette Center in Franconia following a long illness. Born in Bridgewater, NH on August 8, 1937, she was the youngest of 9 children of Edward E. and Dorothy (Murdock)Willoughby. Janice grew up and was educated in Bridgewater. On October 11, 1955, she married Samuel F. Campbell and they settled in Woodstock where they adopted and raised two sons. Janice was employed as a housekeeper at Jack O Lantern in Woodstock and retired from Indian Head Resort in Lincoln. She enjoyed playing card games such as solitare, knitting, sewing, and crafts. She was a longtime member of the Pemi-Valley Church. Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by brothers Peter & Kyle Willoughby and two infant brothers and a sister Doris Cummings. She leaves her loving husband of 55 years Samuel Campbell of Woodstock Two sons Fred Campbell and John Campbell and his wife Kathy all of Campton Two step-grandchildren Crystal and Michelle Elliott both of Campton. Two sisters Barbara Berry of Pembroke and Mary Carlson of LaconiaA brother Clifton “Doc” Willoughby and his wife Liz of Massachusetts Sister-in-laws Linda Havlock of Woodstock, Florabel Downing of Gilford, and Edith McCarthy of Lincoln Brother in Law Howard Campbell and his wife Lucille of Campton Several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11am Thursday, Aug 18 at the family plot at Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock, NH. There are no calling hours.
