Madeleine R. Boissonneault

Madeleine R.(St.Hilaire) Boissonneault, a former resident of Coolidge Street passed away Thursday morning, January 22, 2015 at Lafayette Center in Franconia where she had resided for the past eight years. She was 94. Born on October 2, 1920 in Robertsonville, P.Q. Canada, she was the daughter of Gedeon and Anna (Routhier) St.Hilaire. Madeleine grew up in Canada and moved to Lincoln, NH at age 16 and attended Lincoln High School. On July 15, 1940, she married Donat C. Boissonneault. He pre-deceased her in 1977. She was employed by Franconia Paper Mill, Loon Mountain, and Lin-Wood Schools. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren,and special friends Jillian and Kaitlin Clark. In later years, she enjoyed helping her daughter Yvette at the Hobo and Winnipesaukee Railroads. Besides her husband, two brothers Leonard St.Hilaire and Henry St.Hilaire Four sisters Elaine Young, Arlene Gray, Yvonne Hamel and Irene Derosier all pre-deceased her. Survivors include three children: Paul Boissonneault of North Woodstock,NH, Donald Boissonneault of Sugar Hill, NH, and Yvette Bujeaud of North Woodstock, NH; a sister Gaetane Caudill of Chapel Hill NC; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, May 16 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln.
