Ruth N. Barron, 69, of Daniel Webster Highway died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Walpole, Mass following a brief illness. She had resided in Walpole during her illness to be closer to Nancy, Bill, and Nickolas. Born on April 18, 1943 in Plymouth, NH, she was the daughter of Robert and Emma (Monroe) Kinne. She attended schools in Rumney and was a graduate of Plymouth High School.
Ruth worked at Sprague Electric, then for about 20 years at the Drummer Boy in Lincoln, and retired from Woodwards in Lincoln after 7 years of service.
She was a devoted mother, wife, and friend who will be remembered as always putting others before herself. Ruth particularly loved her little grandson, Nickolas Germaine.
She was a hard working woman who loved gardening, walking and cooking.
She is pre-deceased by her son Robert Barron (2009).
She leaves her beloved husband of 44 years Francis Barron of North Woodstock
Her daughter Nancy Germaine and her husband Bill of Walpole, Mass and her grandson Nickolas.
Two brothers: Richard Kinne and his wife Joyce of Rumney and Carroll Kinne and his wife Anne of Wentworth
An Aunt Phoebe Eaton of Maine , a nephew, two nieces and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St., North Woodstock, NH. Rev. John Muehlke, pastor of Pemi Valley Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodstock Cemetery. Friends may call from 1pm to 2pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
