LINCOLN- Helen Marie Archambault, 91, of Pleasant Street passed away December 1, 2012 surrounded by her family at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth.

Born in Johnson, VT on November 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Linnie (Morse) Neill. She moved to the Lincoln and Woodstock area in 1942 where she raised her family.

After raising her children, Helen went to work at many local seasonal attractions; such as Indian Head, Fantasy Farm, and Loon Mountain until Burndy’s opened where she worked for many years until retirement. In later years you would find Helen working in the deli at what is now known as Price Chopper.

Helen enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, camping, spending time at York Beach, playing cards, cooking, sewing, and knitting. Most of all, she enjoyed family time with her many grandchildren.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Max Archambault in 1998; a granddaughter, Deanna Archambault; and her brother Kenneth Neill.

She is survived by her daughter, Maxine Amos and her husband Donald of Woodstock NH; her son Roger Archambault and his wife Barbara of Hinesville GA; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Florence Daniels of Montpelier, VT and Janice Blake of Bradford VT. Several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Wednesday, December 5 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Rev. David Kneeland will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Salvation Army, 177 Union Ave, Laconia, NH 03246.
