Mary E. Albee

Mary E. Albee of Maltais Farm Road passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH following a period of declining health. She was 84.

Born on August 4, 1930 in Palatka, Fl, she was the daughter of Jeff and Mary E. (Vaughn) Parrish.

Mary was raised and educated in Palatka, Florida.

On August 5, 1959, she married Bertram E. Albee, Jr. Together, they made their home in Lincoln, NH, and subsequently over the years resided in Bradenton, FL, Derry, NH and then returned to Lincoln.

In addition to being remembered for her sense of humor, Mary will be remembered as a very giving person who crocheted and knitted afghans for many in the community. She enjoyed crafts, tying flies for fly fishing, and macramAC..

Self appointed as a “Southern Yankee”, she was of the Southern Baptist Faith.

She also enjoyed dancing and was an advocate as a breast cancer survivor.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by a daughter Patricia Jordan, a son Danny Jordan, two brothers Bruce and Joseph Parrish and two sisters Margaret Gage and Erma Broxson.

She leaves her loving husband of 55 years, Bertram E. Albee, Jr., of Lincoln, NH; a son Bert Albee, III of Whitefield, NH, five daughters Donna Richardson and husband Butch of Wheaton, IL, Becky Bourassa and husband Buddy of Lincoln, NH, Sandra Avery and husband Dalton of No. Woodstock, NH, Andrea Albee-Besougloff of Thornton,NH, and Cynthia Bartlett and husband Dana of Colebrook, NH, a brother Jeff Parrish of El Paso, TX, 20 grandchildren, 27 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, December 19 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, No. Woodstock, NH.

A graveside service will be held at the family plot at Riverside Cemetery in the spring of 2015.
