Susan Gale Robinson, 71 of Lincoln,NH passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Jack Bryne Center, Lebanon NH on January 19,2020. She was born February 4, 1948 in Sonora, CA, to Fred Theodore Burak and Dorothy May "Gale" Burak. She moved to Lincoln, NH when she was nine with her family.
Sue went on to Cosmetology school after graduating from Lin-Wood High School. She worked in numerous hospitality businesses in the Lincoln and Woodstock area. She owned and operated Grampa's Deli with her husband Dave. Sue also owned her own cake business for decades and was known throughout the Lincoln and Woodstock area as the "Cake Lady”. Her specialty cakes and desserts were always the first to go at any establishment or family functions. She was recognized by Lin-Wood Public schools for always donating her delicious baked goods. Sue had a love of cooking, which she passed down to her kids and grandchildren.
She was a den mother in the Boy Scouts for her son Kevin. She and her husband enjoyed traveling out west to country shows. Anyone that knew Sue loved her for her "perverted" sense of humor. "Mimi" as she was known by her grandchildren were the love of her life!
Sue was pre-deceased by her husband Dave of 37 years, her father Ted and her mother Gale and her brother Lance. She is survived by her son Kevin O'Brien of Lincoln, her daughter Kelly Burrows (Ryan McQuade) of Lincoln, Floraine Place (Jon) of Easton, Tammy Robbins (Allan) of North Haverhill, David Robinson Jr. (Shannon) of Thornton and her grandchildren Tylar, Tanner, Jack, Garrett, Jordan, Cole, Connor and her great-granddaughter Piper.
A celebration of Life will be planned at a later date in the spring.
