Marilyn Eleanor Georgia of Oakes Road passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at her son’s home following a period of declining health. She was 88.
Born on May 24, 1930 in Beebe River, NH, she was the daughter of Harry E. and Olive M. (Inkell) Moulton.
Marilyn grew up in Campton, NH was a graduate of Plymouth High School.
Over the years, she was employed at various places including a housekeeper at Indian Head Resort and was a longtime employed as a machine operator at Burndy’s in Lincoln.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.
Her pastimes included antiquing and yard saling. She especially enjoyed the family trips to the Ocean at Old Orchard Beach and Wells, Maine. She really loved to dance.
Besides her parents, he is pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years David E. Georgia (March 3, 2014), an infant son Christopher , a granddaughter Jennifer Lyn Georgia, and a sister Arlene Vaillancourt.
She leaves a son Robert A. Georgia and wife Suzanne both of No. Woodstock, a grandson Jamie Georgia and his wife Chloe and their children Zara Lyn and Daphne Malala all of Seattle, WA, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11am Friday, September 14, at Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, NH followed by a celebration of life at her son Bob’s home at 67 Paradise Road, North Woodstock, NH. There are no calling hours.
