Lillian R. (Buskey) Gilman, a longtime resident of East Side Road and formerly of Lincoln Green in Lincoln, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Grafton County Nursing Home in Haverhill, following a period of declining health.
Lillian was born on May 31, 1929 in Charleston, VT; she was the daughter of Ora and Ann (Butler) Buskey.
In earlier years, she and her first husband Archie Fournier operated CT Valley Dairy. She was a long time resident of the Woodstock-Lincoln area, and was employed as a sales clerk in various gift shops.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Lincoln.
Lillian enjoyed gardening in her flowerbeds, playing cards and bingo, and will be remembered as being a meticulous housekeeper.
In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband Larry to Florida and around the country in their RV. They made it to all but three states.
Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her first husband Archie Fournier, and second husband Laurence “Larry” Gilman.
She leaves three stepdaughters: Louise Leigh (Brad) of York, ME, Laura Sears of Somersworth, NH, and Lydia Wallace (Russell) of Stanstead, P.Q.; two stepsons: John Gilman (Julie) of Windsor, VT and Patrick Gilman (Laurie) of Candia, NH; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; Pauline Murray of East Ryegate, VT as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, October 19 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. Burial will be at Woodstock Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Kanc Recreation area.
