ebra J. Hanson, 59, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones on September 12, 2019.
Deb was born June 8, 1960 in Littleton, New Hampshire to Edith McCaffrey and Robert Hanson Sr. She was the oldest of four siblings, Pamela Mack of Webster, New Hampshire, Robert (Bob) Hanson Jr. of Willard, Missouri, and Stephanie Davis of Laconia, New Hampshire.
She was a lifetime resident of Lincoln and Woodstock. She graduated from Lin-Wood Public School in 1978. She worked at Lost River Gorge, Wayne’s Market, Loon Mountain, the Lincoln/Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, as well as a variety of other jobs.
Deb married Lee Willey in 1978 and they had three children together: Ted Willey, Angela Willey, and Brandi Willey. She met her current husband, John Brown, in October of 1990 and welcomed their daughter Erika in 1998.
In her free time, Deb enjoyed crafting, gardening, bird watching, and trips to the beach. Family was important to her, and she enjoyed every moment she spent with her children and grandchildren. In addition to these, she loved watching the New England Patriots, the Boston Bruins, the Red Sox, and looked forward to the Little League World Series every year.
Debra is survived by her husband, John, her children (Ted, Angela, Brandi, Adam, Erika), her siblings Pamela (brother-in-law Clayton, nephew Garrett), Bob (sister-in-law Genok), and Stephanie (nieces Maggie, Rin, and nephew Jack), her mother Edith, her four grandsons (Zach, Ted, Sam, Ben), and extended family in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
There will be no services held for Debra, but a celebration of her life for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a GoFundMe to help cover expenses at https://www.gofundme.com/f/debra-hanson-family-support
