Aline Irene (Hamel) Dumont, 89, of Franklin Street passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born on June 19, 1928 in Saint-Jean-de-Brébeuf, P.Q., Canada, she was the youngest of 13 born to Julien and Marie Louise (Nadeau) Hamel.
Aline grew up in Canada and moved to Lincoln, NH after her marriage to Bernard Dumont whom she married Oct 28, 1950.
She was a lifelong homemaker and in later years, worked in the gift shop at the Indian Head Resort.
Aline was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, bird watching and spending time with family.
Besides her husband Bernard (1998), she is pre-deceased by all of her brothers and sisters.
She leaves two sons: Claude Dumont and wife Cathalene of Alstead, NH and Renaud Dumont and wife SanJ of Palm Harbor, FL; two daughters Carol Dumont Robbins and husband Lionel of Sittingbourne, Kent U.K and Joann Moser and husband David of Campton, NH; nine grandchildren, 1 Great-Granddaughter , many nieces and nephews as well as her longtime friend Marcellin LaLiberte.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30pm Saturday, June 2 at St. Joseph’s Church in Lincoln, NH. Rev David Kneeland will officiate. Following burial at Riverside Cemetery, a reception will be held in the church fellowship hall.
Calling hours will be held from 10am to 12 Noon Saturday at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, No Woodstock, NH prior to the mass.
