Barbara May Harrington, 87, of Lincoln died on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin, NH after a period of declining health, surrounded by her family.

 

Born on February 25, 1930 in North Woodstock, NH, she was the daughter of Frank and Florence Anne (Cole) Pelletier.  Barbara attended Woodstock Schools and was a graduate of Woodstock High School.

 

 She retired from Loon Mountain where she was employed as a Restaurant Manager.

 

Barbara was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan.   She enjoyed animals and spending time with her loving family. She especially loved going to watch her grandsons sporting events, reading and going to Pittsburgh, NH on day and weekend trips.

 

Besides her husband Arthur Harrington, she is predeceased by two brothers, George Pike and Frank Pelletier Jr., a sister Elizabeth Babineau, and her cat Molly.

 

She is survived by one son, David Harrington and his wife Vicky of Lincoln; one daughter, Jenny Ann Harrington of Lincoln and her longtime companion William McClarin, III of Twin Mountain; two grandsons, Kerry O’Connell II and his wife Mary Ann of Indian Head, MD and Nicholas Harrington and his wife Jennifer of Plant City, FL; two great- grandchildren, Maura O’Connell and Ryan O’Connell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, NH. There are no calling hours.

 

The Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, North Woodstock, NH is in charge of arrangements.
